How do I read these things again? Is it forwards or backwards, I always get confused.
I’m not a huge Manga reader. It’s not that I don’t like it or have never been interested. I oddly have the same issue that lots of people getting into comics generally do. When I look at a shelf the amount of titles seems daunting. There’s more titles then I care to count when it comes to Manga and I went to College for a pricey counting degree.
My Manga reading can be counted on one hand. I personally own Project X: Cup Noodle, Samurai Executioner Vol 1, and Lone Wolf and Cub 2100. Other than what I own I haven’t read any other Manga or at least it didn’t leave a lasting affect on me. I came close to reading Love Hina and Chobits because a girl I was dating owned them. So in order to avoid reading just anything, I figured the best way to find good Manga would be to reach out to you, the community. So on Wednesday at 5:00 PM MST (7:00PM EST) I’ll be getting comfy on the couch and hosting a Tiny Chat for everyone to talk about their favorite Manga, what it’s about, and anything else that seems relevant.
Something to add is that these chats will be a regular occurrence. Sometimes they’ll be on a topic, like the one this week, others may be a Q&A with a creator. Also you may never know who shows up, it may just be me, but other times there may be some special guest. Also there’s always the chance we may be giving away something during one of these.
