Movie Trailer of the Day: First official trailer for The Green Hornet — Michel Gondry’s live-action adaptation of the recently-revamped superhero’s fast-paced misadventures.
The film, which stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, and Christop Waltz, is slated to open wide January 14, 2011.

I wouldn’t call myself a Green Hornet fan, but this movie looks like it’s going to be fun. A while back there was talk about Stephen Chow as Kato and directing, but he had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. It was sad to hear since he does so many great movies, but I think the new trailer shows that they managed to make a cool looking film.
There’s only one thing I can see wrong with it and that is the balance of humor and action. Something seems off about it in the trailer and could make for an awkward movie. With how fun the trailer is, I’m hoping this isn’t the case.
